Construction of Bridges across Dibang River and Lohit River

Named on Dibang River, Dibang Valley District emerges to be the largest district in the State of Arunachal Pradesh at an area of 9129 Sq. Kms. Constructing and building a network of bridges and highways, the project of Dibang Bridge across Bomjur-Meka in Arunachal Pradesh is in progress. Stretched at a total length of 30.950 Kms, currently the project involves construction of bridges and roads at two project locations. Post completions of this project, the Dibang Bridge will connect Bomjur and Meka sections of NH52. Moreover, it will help the security forces to combat anti- national activities and guard the international border with China.
