2-laning of Shillong Bypass from NH-40 to NH-44, in Meghalaya

Recognized as the “Abode of Cloud” and emerge to be one of the most beautiful hill stations in India, Shillong is placed with utmost serene and peace in the State of Meghalaya. With an essential connectivity to Shillong, the Shillong Bypass has facilitated an ease in undertaking smooth transportation. Established with plain and rolling terrain geography with low valleys, high mountains and thick forest, it became integral to develop and undertake 2-laning of Shillong Bypass in Meghalaya on DBFOT basis under SARDP-NE with the total length of 47 Kms.

The project includes:

  •             7 meters wide carriageway with 2.5 m earthen shoulders on either side.
  •             2-laning of Shillong Bypass Connecting NH-40 and NH-44 from Km 61.800 of NH-40 to Km 34.850 of NH-44.
