The corridor spans approximately 12.21 kilometres and is designed as an integrated transportation solution rather than just a bridge crossing.
Its major components include a 3.6 km Extradosed PSC Bridge across the Brahmaputra, southern and northern approach roads connecting existing highway networks, approach viaducts on both riverbanks, elevated wetland viaducts designed to minimise environmental impact, and river training works along with associated infrastructure for long-term structural stability.
